The difference is that when you start to label yourself with labels like "looser" or "failure" rather than considering each situation seprate from your own identity you will be blowing your self confidence and you will have a poor self image, simply because you will be a loser instead of someone who just lost,you will be a failure instead of someone who just failed and you will be an idiot instead of someone who just made a stupid mistake. the problem with labelsThe problem with labels is that it strengthens the idea in your mind that you are faulty, inadequate or missing something and so your self confidence will be severely affected. If you want to know how dangerous a label could be you should know that one of the laws your subconscious mind uses is that You get what you focus on". lets say you went down to the street wearing torn clothes and upon passing by two bystanders they started to whisper to each other while looking at you, the first thing you will think of is that they were talking about your bad looking torn clothes. On the other side, if you bought a new shirt that you know it looks good and the same situation happened you may think that those people were talking about how nice your shirt looked, while in reality both of these thoughts may have never existed and maybe the bystanders were just talking about something else, but as we said, you get what you focus on. So imagine now you are wlaking down the street thinking that you are a loser, every event that you will experience will be decoded by your mind into something that relates to you being a loser. so never ever label yourself, isolate yourself from the external label, say I lost but don't call yourself a loser, say I failed but don't call yourself a failure. challenge your labelsMost of the people who suffer of low self confidence are because of labels that they carry since they were children, those lables were inserted into their minds by their parents or their teachers whom used to call them fools or idiots, whenever they made a mistake.
