Rejection and questioning our competence

Many of us have experienced those feelings; feelings of being put down by others. At times like those, we might start getting thought of us not being up to it, not deserving to succeed; we may start thinking that we are incompetent and may even start thinking that we took the wrong direction from the beginning. But, do you know why do we sometimes feel so?

That's because we have a false idea of rejection. The idea, simply, is that we believe that the world runs perfectly, that being rejected means that we are bad and that being accepted means that we are good.

The truth about rejection

If you think that good things must be accepted because they are good and that bad things must be rejected because they are bad, then you wrong. Most of the time, it's the complete opposite!! Take the example of prophets, when they carry God’s message to others, do all people believe in them right away? Were they never rejected? How were they rejected, if they're holding the message of truth? That's simply because the truth doesn’t only need to be the truth to be accepted; the truth needs someone to fight for it, until it shines everywhere.

This is the truth about rejection; you may get rejected despite being good, you may be rejected even if you're better than the person who rejected you. That's simply because the life we live in is hardly a perfect one. However, if you do believe in yourself enough to fight till the end, your light will shine everywhere, your ideas will be accepted and you'll end up a winner.
