When should i quit my job?
One of the definitions of happiness is the absence of bad emotions. If your job always makes you unhappy, stressed, tired and pressured then your overall happiness levels in life will be greatly affected and you might live a sad life.
There is no doubt that a job that you hate will ruin your life. You will feel bad each night because of worrying about the next day and You will feel worse when the weekend is about to end because you wont feel like wanting to return to your work.
Now should you quit your job if that's case? the answer is yes but you must do it in the right time.
The right time to quit your job
If happiness is of any importance to you then certainly you must quit the job that you hate but unless you do that in the right time you might end up with even worse feelings.
while doing the job that you hate you must work on an alternative plan. That plan could be a private business or it could be an attempt to find another job. I know it might be hard to do two things at the same time but this is the safest way to quit your job.
If your alternative plan worked you can then quit your job right away after making sure that you have secured another source of income.
Quitting your job without having an alternative plan is a risky solution. Of course you will experience relief after quitting but if you didn't find another solution within few weeks then worrying will haunt you and you will feel worse than before.
The only case where you should quit a job without having a backup plan is when that job drains all of your time and energy in such a way that it doesn't allow you to work on a an alternative plan.
When you should quit your job
Many people live unhappy lives because of the false restrictions they imposed on themselves and because of the false beliefs they have acquired.
Some people mistakenly believe that work means suffering, feeling bad or being stressed all the time but that's not true. Right after i graduated i had a vision for the type of work i wanted to do. I understood that suffering isn't an obligatory part of work and that i can find a job that makes me happy.
I left the job that used to give me a hard time and i found another more comfortable one. Even though the job was more comfortable i was working on my private business so that i quit this second job as soon as i get the chance and thanks God i did it.
you should quit your job when you find that you are unhappy with it. I know what's holding you back from taking that decision, its the belief that everyone is unhappy with their jobs.
In fact most people are unhappy with their jobs because they follow the crowd without thinking while few people are happy with what they do because they dared to think differently. (see why its a big mistake to follow the majority)
I have managed to become a self made millionaire at the age of 28. This didn't happen by chance because i already wrote that goal down five years before i accomplished it. Becoming rich is not about luck, starting big or being intelligent but its all about having certain beliefs about money and life.
In The Ultimate guide to becoming rich i will teach you everything that you need to know in order to become rich.
