In order to know why dreaming big can help you make great achievements you need to know the story of john. John was an ambitious young child. At the age of 13 he started helping his father with his small farm.

John always wanted to do something really big in his life. By the age of 14 his father has put a herd of 3000 sheep under his control.

John was so ambitious but he didn't have a degree to support his dreams so he decided to continue on with his education.

John always used to watch tourists come and go and he was wondering what kind of business he can start to help them have a good time.

How dreaming big leads to big success

john wasn't that interested in the farm work anymore and so he started to sell lemonade to tourists making small profits. John started to dream of a place where tourists can rest and that can provide them with amazing service. John took the step and founded a very small hotel.

Because he was always dreaming big his business grew and within a short period of time he was running more than one hotel.

Throughout his lifetime john was fully dedicated to his bushiness and to his dreams. He always wanted his business to become bigger and more popular. Even after his son took charge of the hotels business John kept working hard until his hotels became known as one of the most popular hotel chains in the world.

Lessons to learn from J.W Marriott

Here are some precious lessons you should have came up with after reading this story:

1) Don't limit your dreams by your resources: At one year the profits of John's father farm was 2000 Dollars. If he ever dreamed according to what he has in his hand he would have never thought about starting a large hotel chain. Dream without looking at your resources then find a way to bring those resources. (see also How to reach your goals and dreams)
• 2) You can start really small and become really big: Some people mistakenly believe that you will never become big until you start big and that's a false belief. J.W Marriott started with a lemonade shop and ended up with a giant hotel chain.
• 3) Dream big: If john didn't dream big he might have thought of making his limeade test better or selling another drink beside it but because he wanted to become very successful he started to look for other ways that can help him achieve his dream. Dream big else you will remain stuck where you are now.

I have managed to become a self made millionaire at the age of 28. This didn't happen by chance because i already wrote that goal down five years before i accomplished it. Becoming rich is not about luck, starting big or being intelligent but its all about having certain beliefs about money and life.
