Doing the impossible is possible

By M.Farouk Radwan, MSc.

The impossible Dream

Back in 2005 i used to read a lot of self improvement articles. While reading I came across a famous blogger called Steve Pavlina. Pavlina wasn't just a famous blogger but he was also one of top money making bloggers on the internet. Steve said in one of his articles that his blog makes more than 40,000 USD a month.

At that time i wondered why can't i be like that guy?
Back then i was really passionate about personal development but my knowledge was limited.

I also knew nothing about online marketing and I didn't know how people make money online. I read that Steve was making money from ads (back then).

In addition the idea of working from home or making a blog popular seemed truly impossible.

How can someone work from home and make more money than those who go to an office each day and even travel when needed?

The goal seemed impossible but i believed i can do it.

How the belief weakened

I started 2knowmyself believing that i will make it but shortly the negative comments plus the disappointments we faced forced all people working on 2knowmyself to quit leaving me alone.

Personally i thought about quitting as well. After all the goal seemed totally irrational. My positive beliefs weakened but i just kept going forward because i thought that i would lose nothing if i kept going.

I placed ads on 2knowmyself but the payout was too little (around 2 dollars/day).
I kept struggling for 2 years Until a friend recommended selling products on the site.

At the same time i started learning about SEO until i mastered it. over the years 2knowmyself grew fast along with the income it was generating. When we started working on 2knowmyself our alexa rank was 4,000,000 (the lower the number the better) today we are among the top 100K websites.( See my book How i did it)

Doing the impossible is possible

In the end 2knowmyself became one of the most popular psychology blogs on the internet with 1.5 million visits each month.

So what is the moral of the story?
Even if the dream seemed impossible it can still be done. The only thing that can prevent you from reaching a goal or fulfilling a dream is believing that its not possible.

There is no impossible goal unless you believe it can't be done. Everything that is doable in the world is possible. Can somebody become rich? yes its doable. then you can do it.

Can somebody become famous? Yes its doable and so you can do it.
had i stopped working on my project when i believed it won't work my life would have been a total mess now.

Its all about your beliefs. Believe you can do the impossible and you will.

2knowmyself is not a complicated medical website nor a boring online encyclopedia but rather a place where you will find simple, to the point and effective information that is backed by psychology and presented in a simple way that you can understand and apply. If you think that this is some kind of marketing hype then see what other visitors say about 2knowmyself.
